Why have I not received an E-mail?

NickServ said it was sending me an email.  Why haven’t I received it?

Sometimes E-mails from IRC4Fun Services are mistaken by some providers as junk or spam.  In most cases, users can check their Junk / Spam folders and locate the expected email.  However, some providers (such as Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live/MSN) block the emails from ever arriving to the user.

Services Emails come from Services@IRC4Fun.net.

Recommendations:

  • Use an email account where providers are not known to completely block our emails (Such as Gmail or Yahoo!)
  • Check your Bulk / Junk / Spam folders to ensure it hasn’t been mistaken as spam by your email provider.  (If it is in a spam folder, please mark it as Not being spam)
  • If you have not received the email within 15 minutes, please open a Support Ticket as soon as possible(Confirmation codes expire after 24 hours, and Unconfirmed accounts are expired after 24 hours as well.)
