How / When do Nicknames expire?
There are several conditions which may cause a Nickname to be expired (automatically dropped by NickServ):
- The nickname has not been used (or identified to) in 365 days.
- The nickname has been dropped by either the owner or IRC4Fun Staff.
- The nickname (account) can be recovered at any time in the future, as long as the account on our website is active. (If the email address on file begins bouncing emails, the account will be deactivated.)
Grouped Nicknames
Grouped Nicknames (to your primary Nickname/account) follow the same expiration policy.
