How can I get opped in my Channel? There are several ways that you can get opped in your channel.  Here are some ways that you can get ops in your channel: ChanServ If you have registered your channel with ChanServ, ChanServ should automatically op you in your channel as long as you've identified with NickServ.  If ChanServ did not automatically op you, check to make sure you're identified to NickServ.  You can also ask ChanServ to OP you, by typing: /cs OP #MyChannel Auto mode (+w) IRC4Fun's IRC servers allow channel ops to set auto-modes (+w) which will make IRC4Fun servers set certain modes on matching users as they /JOIN the channel. What is BotServ? BotServ allows the Founder of a channel, registered with ChanServ, to customize the service bot in their channel.  It is also useful for channels which are unable to configure or host a bot of their own.  (For example: Instead of having ChanServ sit in their channel, a Founder can decide to ASSIGN a BotServ bot sit in the channel -- in ChanServ's place.)
