What happened?
We’ve updated our Services (specifically NickServ) to allow for email addresses to be used for registering up to 2 accounts.
Why the change?
It was brought to our attention by dracorex, that NickServ should allow an email address to be used at least twice. One being for normal user accounts, and one being for their personal bot (if they have one). The previous limit of 1 email address being allowed per account did not account for users’ bots, and required the user to have an additional (separate) email address for their bot, in order to register it’s account.
We do not want to limit users to using the same account as any potential bots.
When?
It is effective as of today.
